You were the coolest dad on the block,

The way you talked and how you seemed to glide,

Not walk …

I remember you would always have a pocket full of change Just in case I asked for a quarter --

Knowing I’d always take a handful.

It was our special thing.

You never settled –

Fighting for me to have a great education

And always the best things in life.

I remember how you were always there

And that you still are.

Thanks for being a true father

It has made all the difference in my life.
