Every toy you’ve ever bought me

Or every adventure you’ve taken me on

I can’t remember all the times

You tried to bribe me with candy

Or, the countless times you covered me

So Mom wouldn’t get mad!

But, what I do remember …

Is you being there

And that has made all the difference

In the man and father that I’ve become.
